Kimora Lee Simmons and her five children safely rescued by firefighters from house fire

After her house caught fire, American model and mother of five, Kimora Lee Simmons expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) for their heroic efforts in saving the lives of her family members over the weekend.

Formerly married to Record label executive Russell Simmons, Kimora took to social media on Sunday to share her experience and thank the firefighters who responded to the emergency.

Kimora wrote on her Instagram Story, “My house caught fire. The kids and I are all fine,” and shared a snapshot of the firefighters investigating the smoke-filled fireplace.

She expressed her deepest gratitude to the first responders, acknowledging their dedicated efforts and the potential life-saving impact. She wrote, “I cannot express the deepest gratitude to the numerous battalions, ladders and units that attended to us for many hours today and quite possibly saved our lives. THANK YOU!❤️🥺.”

Kimora, the TV personality, also shared additional photos of the firefighters in her living room, showing the aftermath of the fire with rolled back carpets and scattered debris.

She expressed her gratitude to the responders again, stating, “I cannot express the deepest gratitude to the numerous battalions, ladders and units that attended to us for many hours today and quite possibly saved our lives.”

Kimora shares her daughters Ming, 23, and Aoki, 21, with her ex-husband Russell Simmons, her son Kenzo, 14, with ex Djimon Hounsou, and son Wolfe, 8, with her estranged second husband Tim Leissner.

She also welcomed her son Gary, 10, via adoption in 2020.
